Pyongyang, Aug 20 (Prensa Latina)The president of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), Kim Jong Il, started a visit to Russia to hold talks with his counterpart, Dmitri Medvedev.
Kim Jong Il is on his second visit since 2002 to Russia, one of the six members of the peace talks on the Korean Peninsula.
Russia, China, the United States, Japan and North and South Korea make up the group of negotiators trying to ease tensions in the region, especially on the issue of nuclear non-proliferation.
