Caracas, (Prensa Latina) The Pan-Latin American television channel TeleSUR is now on the U.S. platform WorldTV, expanding its broadcasts in North America, where more than 116 million people will be able to enjoy its informational programs.
The TeleSUR network, a joint venture of several Latin American countries, uses dial 60 of WorldTV, which operates with the Galaxy 19 satellite.
Coverage is available in the United States, including Hawaii; Canada; part of Mexico; Central America and the Caribbean.
With this step, Latin America is now on WorldTV, a channel that promotes the transmission of news networks from at least 45 different nations such as France 24, Russia Today and Al Jazeera International.
The channel will be broadcast in Spanish and Portuguese.
