Asuncion, Aug 2 (Prensa Latina) The 14th Ibero-American Conference on Culture begins Tuesday as part of preparatory meetings for the forthcoming 21st Ibero-American summit, also to be held in Paraguay.
The culture conference includes ministers and representatives of Latin America and the Caribbean, Spain, and Portugal, and experts from international agencies.
The slogan of the 21st Ibero-American Summit is “The Transformation of the State and Development,” and will be held Oct. 28-29 at the convention hall of the South American Soccer Federation in the city of Luque.
The summit will be in session at the Hotel Splendor of the capital beginning at 9 a.m. and will begin with the presentation of the topic “Culture and Governability,” by Paraguayan Culture Minister Ticio Escobar.
The 14th Conference of Culture Ministers and representatives will conclude with the reading and passing of the Declaration of and a press conference.
