Berlin, July 19 (Prensa Latina) Germany hopes that the Summit of Heads of State and Government to be held on Thursday will reach a united response to the debt crisis in Greece, said German’s Executive.
The spokesman of the Executive, Steffen Seibert, said that the German government is working on the Greek rescue, which is the main theme of the agenda for the meeting.
Seibert reaffirmed that Berlin supports the considerable participation of private creditors of Greece in the rescue plan.
The position taken by Germany to get something concrete from the meeting of the heads of the eurozone, prompting the postponement of the meeting, originally set for last Wednesday.
Meanwhile, French government spokesman and Budget Minister Valerie Pecresse said that the desire of the German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, of arriving at something concrete on Thursday is in the right direction.
