Jakarta, (Prensa Latina) Indonesia police arrested this Tuesday 11 suspects allegedly linked to the explosion that killed a man in an Islamic school in the south.
A communiqué of the police assures that during the arrest they confiscated several arrows and machetes, which could be used as evidence in the case.
According to preliminary information, the explosion caused the death of the treasurer of the school, located in Sumbawa island.
According to Antara News the experts are cannot yet properly investigate the crime scene because they are waiting for an authorization to enter the school.
According to local police, initial results confirm that the explosion was provoked by a homemade device.
The officers mentioned that a young man who studies in that school is under investigation for alleged links to the murder of a police officer in June 2010.
In recent months the Indonesian authorities intensified their operations against terrorism because of the threat of the resurgence of such activity in the most populous Muslim country in the world.
