Guatemala, (Prensa Latina) A shot in the left side of the skull caused the death of Argentine singer-songwriter Facundo Cabral on Sunday, according to autopsy results.
The online edition of the newspaper Prensa Libre reveals that this was determined by experts from the National Institute of Forensic Sciences of Guatemala.
Cabral also had two bullet wounds in the arm and back, says the report.
The body was taken from the morgue to a funeral facility in the capital, where it will be preserved until his family comes from Argentina.
Apparently Cabral was a chance victim of an operation mounted by organized crime, since the first investigations indicate that it was directed against the driver of the vehicle, who is a Nicaraguan cultural entrepreneur, and who is seriously injured.
