Quito, Jul 10 (Prensa Latina) Experts from 34 nations will meet in this capital on Monday to consider the control of chemical substances and pharmaceutical products, announced the organizers of the meeting.
The event, from July 11 to 15, will take place in a hotel in this capital and will be attended by high level delegates from international organizations and different countries, as well as various Ecuadorian ministerial authorities.
The mechanisms to guarantee the good technical use of chemical substances will be analyzed, in order to improve the health of the population, continuing industrial development, and the protection of the environment.
The National Council for the Control of Drug and Psychotropic Substances of Ecuador is in charge of the organization of this event.
This council is led by the Attorney General of the State and formed by the ministries of Interior, Foreign Affairs, Defense, and Health.
In its will to strengthen the anti-drug fight, Ecuador hosts experts from different nations in order to work on strategies that allow unifying regulations and methodologies in the countries of the continent, said an official report.
