Luanda, Jul 7 (Prensa Latina) The relations of friendship and cooperation between Angola and Venezuela are going forward fruitfully, said Jesus Alberto Garcia, chargé dÂ�affairs of the Venezuelan Embassy in this African country.
Garcia said these links are getting stronger in several fields after signing a General Economic, Commercial, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Agreement for cooperation on March 31.
Garcia ratified that the opening of the Angolan Embassy in Venezuela is scheduled for the end of 2011, an important step for bilateral relations.
In the last hours the Venezuelan Embassy in Angola celebrated an activity to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the independence of Venezuela.
In this activity, the historical legacy of Libertador Simon Bolivar was highlighted.
