Tripoli, (Prensa Latina) NATO warplanes continued bombing Libyan army positions to back a rebel offensive currently neutralized by pro-government forces on the two main military fronts.

Accordig to unconfirmed independent reports, nearly seven rebels died and 49 were injured in an attack by Gadaffi’s troops on Sunday against Zintan, southeast of the capital and still under the control of rebels.
The Western military aggression of the West was encouraged by a visit to Benghazi, the rebel stronghold, by German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle, who affirmed that Berlin does not remain neutral.
Germany joined the small group of countries, comprised by France, Italy, Qatar, Britain, Spain, United Arab Emirates and Jordan, that recognized the opposition’s National Transitional Council (CNT) as the legitimate representative of the Libyan people.
