Caracas, 29 May. AVN .- The Venezuelan Government will not give up defending its sovereignty, expressed Energy and Oil Minister and president of the national oil company PDVSA, Rafael Ramirez, this Sunday.
Ramirez joined a parade throughout Caracas in defense of the national sovereignty and the main industry in the country, Petroleos de Venezuela (PDVSA), after the United States Administration impose sanctions to the country due to its trade with Iran.
Accompanied with social and political organizations, as well as works of the oil industry, Ramirez expressed that “sovereignty is inalienable” and he took the opportunity to point out the reaction of the Venezuelan people in the face of this new aggression.
“Venezuelans have strongly rejected such imperial measures. It is very important the support of our people. Since last week, oil workers, political parties, people in general have expressed their repudiation to these aggressions.”
