Caracas, 28 May. AVN .- Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez celebrated the return of former Honduran president Jose Manuel Zelaya to the Central American country, almost two years after being victim of a coup d”état which led to a regime of tortures, repression and human rights violation in this country.
By means of his Twitter account @chavezcandanga, he wrote: “Mel Zelaya came back to his Honduran Homeland! It is a great victory of the Honduran people! Down with dictatorships!Long life People”s Power! Long life Real Democracy.”
Zelaya arrived this Saturday in Tegucigalpa, Honduras” capital city, accompanied by a commission of Latin American foreign ministers, other officials and political representatives of the region.
The former Honduran president was welcomed by a crowd at the airport of that city and then moved in a backup to square Isis Obed to address the people who awaited for him.
