President of Salvadoran Parliament Visits Cuba

Havana, May 27 (Prensa Latina) President of the Legislative Assembly of El Salvador, Sigfredo Reyes, arrived Friday in Cuba for a three-day visit.

Reyes, who was invited by the National Assembly of the Peopleâ�Ös Power of Cuba, is leading a delegation comprising the vice president of the Salvadoran legislature, Guillermo Gallegos, and deputies Horacio Ortez, Jose Serafin Orantes, Miguel Elias Olivos.

The parliamentary delegation will hold talks with Ricardo Alarcon, who is the president of the Cuban Parliament and other leaders of government and Communist Party of Cuba.

The agenda also includes laying a wreath at the statue of National Hero José Martí Saturday morning, a tour of the historic center of Havana and a visit to the Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology.
