Islamabad, May 13 (Prensa Latina) At least 73 people died and another 100 injured in a double suicidal attack carried out Friday against a military training center in northeastern Pakistan.
The attack took place in Shabqadar, at 35 kilometers from Peshawar, which is the main Pakistani city next to the Afghan border.
According to Geo News, the Taliban Pakistani movement did the attack in retaliation for the death of Al Qaeda’s leader Osama Bin Laden.
This is the first act of revenge devoted to Osama, said Ehsanullah Ehsan, spokesman of Pakistani Tehrik-e-Taliban.
Major terrorist attacks will be carried out by this group in Pakistan and also in Afghanistan, Geo News reported.
Most of the victims of Friday’s attack were recruits from the paramilitary corps watching the border. At least 20 of them are in grave condition, so the death toll may rise in a few hours, local authorities said.
