Caracas, 09 May. AVN .- Vice minister of prevention and citizen security Nestor Reverol expressed that Venezuelan citizen Walid Makled, accused of committing crimes of drug traffic, money laundering and murder, will be handed over to justice in less than 24 hours.
At a press conference over Makled”s extradition to Venezuela, Reverol reminded that this citizen of Syrian origin was under investigation since 2005 for the deviation of chemical substances. Then, in 2007, the Public Ministry began an investigation due to money laundering.
Makled was also wanted by a court in central state Carabobo since November 13, 2008. That day were seized 400 packages of cocaine in his farm in that state.
Besides, he is charged for the contract killing of a journalist and a physician in 2009, the two of them key witnesses on the case against Makled.
