Bin Laden”s Death Does Not Solve Terrorism

Brasilia, May 5 (Prensa Latina) The special adviser to the Brazilian Presidency for Foreign Affairs, Marco Aurelio Garcia, Thursday said that the death of Al Qaeda”s leader and founder, Osama Bin Laden, does not solve the problem of terrorism.

“If you think terrorism is solved with the death of Bin Laden your are very mistaken,” Garcia told reporters before participating in the lunch offered by the Brazilian president Dilma Rousseff to the German President Christian Wulff, in the Itamaraty Palace.

The problem of terrorism is clearly not resolved through repression, but also and above all, addressing the main causes that gave rise to it, said Garcia.
