Montevideo, Apr 28 (Prensa Latina) Brazilian entrepreneurs expressed to Uruguayan President Jose Mujica their interest in investing in Uruguay, in the fields of infrastructure, railroads, energy and logistics to improve the sustainable development of the region.
Mujica received a Brazilian delegation at the Executive Tower in Montevideo.
The Brazilian delegation is visiting Uruguay following the visit by Mujica to Sao Paulo, Brazil, in March this year. The delegation will meet with the Uruguayan Ministry of Transport and Public Works (MTOP) Logistics Office Thursday to study investment possibilities.
Enrique Pintado, Uruguayan Minister of Transport and Public Works, said they will study the possibilities through the Law of Public-Private Association and the government’s strategic plan.
